You're not imagining it. And you're not alone.
Doctor-led, evidence-based care for perimenopause, menopause, and midlife health — designed for real life
Personalised care to help you understand your body and feel like yourself again
Something has shifted. You can feel it.
Maybe it’s the sleep that won’t come, or the fatigue that won’t lift. The brain fog that makes you feel less sharp than you know you are. The weight that’s changed despite nothing obvious being different. The mood, the anxiety, the feeling that you’re somehow not quite yourself anymore.
In my clinical experience, these are among the most common things women describe in midlife — and among the most commonly dismissed.
Perimenopause can begin years before your last period, with effects felt across almost every area of your body. At the same time, the cumulative impact of years spent putting everyone else first can begin to show up in your body too.
Most women don’t need to try harder. They need the right information, the right support, and a plan that’s built around their actual life.
That’s what we’re here for.

The medicine and the mindset. The hormones and the habits. In one place.
Most services offer one or the other. We offer both — and we integrate them intentionally.
For many women, perimenopause and lifestyle health aren’t two separate problems. They’re deeply connected. Hormonal changes affect sleep, which affects stress, which affects metabolism, which affects energy and mood. Addressing one without the other often means you don’t see the full benefit.
At Lifestyle Medicine Collective, we bring together expert medical care — including menopause hormone therapy where appropriate — with evidence-based lifestyle strategies and behaviour change support. So you don’t have to choose between treating your symptoms and building a healthier life. You can have both.
Why I built this
Over the years, I’ve had countless conversations with women who felt blindsided by what midlife did to their bodies and their sense of themselves. In the clinic. Over cups of tea. And in late-night messages from friends that start with “is this normal?” and end with “why did nobody tell us this?”
I’ve also seen intelligent, capable women exhausted by health advice that was either too extreme to follow, not evidence-based enough to trust, or simply designed for someone with more time and energy than they actually have.
I built Lifestyle Medicine Collective to bring two things together that are rarely found in the same place: expert medical care for perimenopause and menopause, and practical, sustainable support for whole-person health.
Because women deserve both. And they deserve care that treats them as the whole, complex, capable people they are.
What women tell us:
Time and again, women tell us that after their consultation, they finally feel heard, understood, and supported.
Here are just a few examples of the types messages we’ve received — after consultations, during our program, or even from women who’ve simply read our free resources:
These are paraphrased reflections inspired by themes and messages we commonly hear from women in our community. They are not direct quotes or testimonials, and they do not reflect clinical advice or individual health outcomes. Why women choose us
The medicine and the mindset.
The hormones and the habits.
Our non-diet approach to weight and health supports hormone balance, mental wellbeing, and long-term prevention and management of chronic conditions—so you can feel better now and protect your future health.

Our Our Women's Lifestyle Reset Program isn’t your average wellness program — it’s a doctor-designed, evidence-based approach to creating realistic and sustainable lifestyle changes

Our GPs and allied health practitioners specialise in perimenopause, menopause, and lifestyle medicine — offering evidence-based care and telehealth consultations anywhere in Australia

We offer support that actually fits your life, not advice that assumes you have endless time, energy, or motivation

We focus on what matters most for your health - nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management and hormone health—because these are the foundations for long term wellbeing

We are a safe place - no shame, no judgement, no unrealistic expectations, no restrictive plans, no diet culture, and no pressure to “fix” yourself

We support mindset change — not just behaviour change — because thought patterns like guilt, overwhelm, and all-or-nothing thinking can make change hard

We’re grounded in science — not quick fixes, wellness fads, or empty promises. You won’t find magic bullets or miracle cures here — just evidence-based support you can actually trust

We give you tools for consistency — not perfection, because lasting change comes from what you do most of the time, not from getting everything right
Frequently asked questions
Lifestyle medicine is an evidence-based approach that focuses on using healthy lifestyle habits to prevent, and manage chronic conditions and improve overall wellbeing. This includes nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, social connection, and minimisation of harmful substances. For more information see: What we help with.
LMC is not a general practice clinic. We focus on lifestyle-based health support and/or menopause specific care rather than diagnosing other conditions, prescribing medications (outside of menopause care), or providing acute care. Our goal is to help you create sustainable health habits that complement your regular medical care. For more information about what we can and cannot provide see our scope of services.
No you don’t need a referral to access our services. You can book directly through our website. However, if you are planning to claim a Medicare rebate for dietitian consultations you do need a valid referral and Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan from your regular GP. Referrals can be emailed: contact@lifestylemedicinecollective.com.au or via HealthLink (EDI is: lifestmc).
GP Consultations
Our GP consultations are Medicare-rebatable when they relate to perimenopause or menopause. Unfortunately, Medicare does not currently cover GP telehealth consultations that focus solely on lifestyle medicine without having had a prior face to face appointment with the practitioner. Private health does not cover any GP consultations.
Dietitian Consultations
Dietitian appointments can be covered by Medicare with a valid referral and Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan from your regular GP. They may also be eligible for private health insurance rebates, depending on the insurer.
Lifestyle Medicine Programs
Our structured programs are not covered by Medicare. Some private health insurers may provide rebates, depending on the insurer.
No, LMC does not replace your GP or specialist. Your GP provides general medical care, including diagnoses, prescriptions, chronic disease management, and support for more urgent health concerns.
LMC is here to work alongside your usual medical care, offering guidance on menopause care or your lifestyle (nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management etc) to support your overall health.
Yes—absolutely. The Reset Program is designed for women in midlife and beyond, whether you’re in perimenopause, postmenopause, or not experiencing noticeable hormonal changes yet. It is for anyone who is wanting to improve their health through sustainable lifestyle changes.
